The chapters 7.1 to 7.6 on the Heaths, Meadow Browns etc. were finished and made available some time ago.

I have more-or-less finished the chapters on: Hipparchia spp (Common, Rock, and Striped Graylings); Pseudochazara spp (Grecian Grayling etc.); Oeneis spp (Norse Grayling etc); Satyrus and Minois spp (Satyrs and Dryad); and made considerable progress with the Erebia spp (Mountain Ringlets).

I have decided to finish the Erebia spp before all else and publish their chapters next, probable late 2027 or a bit later.

This new website published today.  Old website had been dormant for several years.

The main change is that purchasing now must be done by contacting the author direct at butterflyeurope@btinternet.com.

The chapters on the Hesperiidae (Skippers) are mainly written, but ideally need several more particular photographs.  This was prevented by Covid,  Therefore I have delayed the Hesperiidae and turned to the Satyrinae (Browns).

I am currently working on chapters concerning the Heaths, Meadow Browns etc, scheduled for completion in late 2021, when they will be published as a batch.

It is intended to complete the  Satyrinae before returning to the Hesperiidae.
